Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Group has said it will increase broadband capacity to over 100Gpbs by the end of 2010 to consolidate its position as the leading Internet service provider in Vietnam.

VDCs network currently has a capacity of 45Gpbs, which accounts for over 70 percent of the countrys total.

From 2006 to 2009, VDCs MegaVNN was voted the most popular broadband service by the readers of Vietnams PC World Magazine. The service also won several awards at the 2008 ICT awards ceremony hosted by the Ministry of Information and Communications.

Next year, VDC will focus on improving its value added services, including Mega E-learning, Mega Share, Mega Web, Mega TV, Mega E-school and Mega E-meetings.
