A short movie “The 4th” produced by five students from Raffles International College in HCM City won the prize for the best horror film at the 7th Hollywood International Film in the US.

Student horror film in Hollywood fest
“The 4th” was produced entirely by Nguyen Do Khoa, Le Nhu Anh, Nguyen Uy Vu, Nguyen Hoang Duy and Truong Thang Khoa including script, sound, special effects, acting and directing. The 20-minute movie is about the secrets hidden in a four-storey house.
This film was chosen as one of 64 movies screened at the festival, from 250 submissions. This is the first time Vietnamese students have attended the festival.
Vietnamese students met with student film makers from many countries and it was seen as good chance for them to exchange and learn from other young film makers.
The Vietnam Young Talent Fund presented this group with 20 million dong to participate in this event.
