Vietnam wins first prize in int’l aquarium contest

Designer Nguyen Tien Dung from Thuy Moc Company has won first prize at the annual International Aquatic Plants Layout Contest (IAPLC) for an aquarium called “A Moment of Time.”
 

Dung’s work surprised participants and the jury for its close lay-out featuring the romantic beauty of Vietnam. Depicting mountains, forests and the sea, “A Moment of Time” expresses the Vietnamese people’s wish to preserve nature through its slogan: “The gifts from mother nature are not infinite and permanent. We have to preserve and protect the beautiful space that nature awards us.”

The IAPLC attracted over international 50 contestants from many countries.
