The information was released at a press briefing jointly organised by the Foreign Ministry, the Link World Unlimited International Event and Hanoi National University on October 12.

The Had of the Foreign Ministry’s Department of External Relations, Le Quoc Thinh said that Ambassador Schwab’s presentation will help the Vietnamese business circle to approach the US market and become more active in promoting Vietnamese brands in foreign markets.

As the US is currently Vietnam’s most important market, Ambassador Schwab will touch upon practical measures to help speed up Vietnam-US bilateral trade, which is considered key to recovering and developing Vietnam’s economy.

The ambassador will also talk about bilateral trade policy, the US’s trade protection systems and the law on trade.
