The new method is a new hope for many couples.

VietNamNet Bridge – Doctors of the HCM City-based Van Hanh helped a young couple in Hanoi have two daughters last weekend thanks to “frozen testicle cells.”

Doctors report that the husband suffers from problems with his seminal duct. The man has sperm, but they cannot come out and thus he cannot have children.

Thanks to the “frozen testicle cells” method, applied for the first time in Vietnam, two babies were born last weekend to the infinite joy of the family.

Doctors said that among men who cannot have children, seminal duct cases account for less than 5 percent and constructing artificial seminal ducts is not very effective. Taking testicle cells to freeze and then conducting in-vitro fertilization yields higher results.
