Singapore, Da Nang join hands
Da Nang Port Co Ltd and Singapore Cruise Centre are scheduled to sign an agreement on sea tourism development at the annual Viet Nam-Singapore cooperation conference in Da Lat tomorrow, March 13. The two sides will simplify procedures to meet the needs of cruise tourists, especially from Singapore. The country will develop a tourism port complex which can handle vessels with capacity of 4,000 passengers each.
Frommer votes for Ha Noi
Ha Noi is ranked as one of the world’s most ideal tourism destinations, according to Frommer travel guides. Frommer said Ha Noi was an ideal choice for tourism, as the city will celebrate its 1,000th anniversary and the National Tourism Year in 2010.
Ha Noi also happens to be Asia’s “most Asian city” with plenty of pagodas, temples and historic monuments. Tourists will not be disappointed with delicious dishes, the Old Quarter and the area around Hoan Kiem Lake with water puppetry theatre and art galleries, the guide said.
