Hanoi Moi (New Hanoi) Newspaper has launched a photo competition entitled “A moment of Thang Long” to celebrate Thang Long-Hanoi’s 1,000th anniversary.

The contest opens for Vietnamese and foreign professional and amateur photographers who live in Vietnam. Contestants are encouraged to send their works to the organizing board from now until August 30, 2010 at 71 Nguyen Chi Thanh, Hanoi, or through website www.khoanhkhacthanglong.vn.
The winner will receive 20 million dong bonus. The best photos will be displayed at an exhibition at 29 Hang Bai, Hanoi from October 2-7.
Contest entries must feature the beauty and variety in the life and culture of Hanoians and the city’s cultural and architectural works and traditional festivals. Entries must have not been printed in newspaper or magazines or have won prizes at any other competition.
