Japanese scholar gives lecture in Hanoi

Professor Ikujiro Nonaka, a world leading expert on economic management, talked about knowledge building and management processes at a presentation in Hanoi on December 3.

VnnNews – Professor Ikujiro Nonaka, a world leading expert on economic management, talked about knowledge building and management processes at a presentation entitled “Management in the 21st century – From Asia to the World” in Hanoi on December 3.

According to Ikujiro Nonaka, businesses’ strategic plans should not only aim to maximize current profits but also help to shape a future. To emphasize the importance of knowledge, Prof. Nonaka focused on analyzing the methodology of general knowledge building, knowledge management and the mobile model of knowledge building.

He also introduced his own management experiences and profiled reasons behind the success of famous Japanese businesses.

The presentation, sponsored by the Party Central Committee’s Organization Commission and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), provided Vietnam’s senior management officials, scientists and business leaders with an opportunity to learn more about traditional Asia-oriented management.
