A 7-year-old boy impressed the audience by his performing talent.

Many memorable songs were performed at the event including “Childhood”, “I’ll Be There”, “Bad”, “They Don’t Care about Us”, The Way You Make Me Feel,” “Smooth Criminal”, “Billie Jean”, “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You”, “Thriller”, “Earth Song”, and “Heal the World”.

A Vietnamese band – Communication 69 – launched a video clip “Thriller-Fan Made” which is a simulation of the original song.

The show began at 7:45pm but the audience flocked to the Youth Cultural House at 1 Tang Bat Ho one hour beforehand to chant Jackson’s name.

Hoa, 23, a member of the Heal the World Group, a fanclub of Michael Jackson in Hanoi, explained: “We have prepared for this event for several months. We hope that everybody who loves Michael Jackson can join the show to listen to his immortal songs and review his most memorable images.”

Duy Linh, 20, remarked that “I have grown up with Michael’s music. One year ago, I nearly fell down when my idol passed away. Today, I want to share my feelings with other fans of Michael.”
