Government sets up administrative control agency

VnnNews - Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has formed a special agency to control administrative procedures, chaired by himself and the chief of the Government office.

This agency is responsible for controlling administrative formalities and managing the national database on formalities as of October 14, 2010.

On June 8, the Government issued a decree on controlling the implementation of and to review administrative formalities and control the national database on administrative formalities.

This decree specifically banned activities for officials who provide administrative formalities, such as disclosing information about business documents and personal secrets of citizens, being imperious or raising difficulties for the people and accepting gifts in any form.
