The aim of the AUN program assessment is to prepare for cross-university training among regional universities that can meet the standards. The best universities of the 10 countries in the region have volunteered to join the programme assessment. The assessment also helps universities better understand one other. Once universities have confidence in each other, they can develop credit transfer standards and cross-university training within the AUN network.
