Passengers of at least 12 flights from Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport couldn’t do check-in procedures from 10-10.30am of March 7 due to a computer incident.

The incident occurred for the CUTE network, which links the Northern Airport Corporation’s network to the booking systems of airlines.
Because of the incident, 12 flights from the Noi Bai International Airport were delayed between 30 minutes to 4 hours, including five local and two international flights of Vietnam Airlines and five flights of Thai Airways, Aeroflot Russian Airlines, Uni Air, China Airlines, and Eva Air.
Airlines had to use the back-up system.
