Patterson is considered one of the leading political scientists in the US and an expert on American politics and political media.

Returning to Vietnam this time, he will talk with students of the Hanoi-based National University at Nha Trang University about media and Internet trends in the US. He will also talk online with VietNamNet’s readers about the US during President Obama’s term.

In meetings with government officials and the media during his visit to Vietnam last year, the US professor will try to boost mutual understanding between the two countries.
