Actor Corey Haim dies at 38

The 1980s’ teen idol Corey Haim had died of an accidental overdose on Wednesday morning. He was 38.

The Canadian actor was pronounced dead at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California at 2:15 am local time (2215 GMT) after he was rushed to the complex. Although claiming Haim had died of an apparent overdose, police said an autopsy will determine the cause of death.

 

Haim’s mother Judy reportedly called 911 after she found her son collapsed and paramedics arrived at the apartment she shares with Haim at 12:53 am.
